I have a pretty distinct memory of asking my Mom how old I was while we were standing in the kitchen, and she told me that I was 3. I also have some vague memories of pre-school when I was 4, especially picking up this girl that rode with us. But, I really don't have a lot of solid memories, similar to recent memories, until I was around 5 years old.

I remember when I was 2, and we lived in an old house with plastered walls. My older brother and I would walk around the house looking for cracks in the plaster, and when we found one, we'd shout "Ummmmmmmmm!!!" and laught hysterically. Around that same time we got a swingset, and Mom said I couldn't swing until I used the bathroom, and I didn't have to, so I thought that was SO unfair. Oh, yeah, I stuck an apple seed in my ear that year, and had to go to the doctor to get it taken out. Really scary, and I cried a lot.

I know, more info than you wanted! Sorry!

My earliest memory is walking in on my mother having sex. Of course, I didn't know what she was doing, and after she didn't answer me, I left. I think I was 2 or 3 years old.

I am at the retirement age and I can remember when I was 2 1/2 yrs old and my dad bought a duplex home and changed it to a one family home. My mother would take us down and have a cook out with dad and we would play there until dad said it was tome to go. We loved that home.

I remember being about 3 and riding a tricycle down two flights of stairs...and discovering that you CAN'T ride a tricycle down two flights of stairs.
And I remember being about 4 and falling face first against the TV and knocking out my two front teeth. Ouch!
Also about four I remember a very pregnant friend of my mom's was visiting. I kept trying to look up her dress and asking if I could play with her basketball.
Actually, I remember a lot about being 4.

I remember our new house. I was so excited, I dropped my blanket on the sidewalk and ran into the living room. (think Linus and you'll know that was a big moment) I remember the honey colored hardwood floors and the sunlight slats with dust swirling in them. I remember going into the hallway expecting the house to go on and on (it didn't!) and I remember my aunt behind me and then that's all I remember. I had just turned four.
