How long does it take for the symptoms to go away once you start the antibiotics? Today is day 5 and my eye is still hurting just as much as it did a few days ago. I'm supposed to be using the drops for a week but I would think that my eye should be feeling better by now. Is this normal or should I think about going back to the doctor?

it should have started getting better by now. you should probably go back to the doctor. you may have a resistant strain of it or something. i hate pink eye. i had it earlier this year!

The question is? are you taking them the way your doctor told you to? Have you went a week? if not it is going to take long,I would give it one more day,if your eye is still feeling the same way go back to your doctor and the drops cause be not the right one!

my daughter recently had pink eye a very mild case of it I be live because it went away after only a few days if your seeing no sign of improvement go back to the Doctor

Should be getting better by now. Go back to your doctor and in the mean time try bathing your eye with cold tea, it's very soothing.

your eye shuld get better in a couple of days if you are using antibiotics!!!!
