I don't believe there is any cure for a viral infection. Some information says that a sty is from an infected eyelash hair, so either way, put warm compresses on it and it should go away in a few days and hopefully less. It hurts everytime you blink. Take a clean washcloth and use hot water. Be sure and wash your hands if you touch it tho. The warm compresses may make the sty drain which will make it feel better. Hope this helps.

First of all do not try to poke or squeeze at it, it won't be a pretty sight, and I'm speaking from personal experience. Anyways, they have eye drops and they also have medicine that you squeeze into upper or lower eyelid, where ever the sty is and it relieves pain and keeps it clean. Another way, which I prefer, is about three to four times a day get a wash cloth soak it under the sink faucet using steaming hot water and keep it pressed against your eye for about 10-15 minutes, you'll need to keep going back and reheating the washcloth though, but it helps bring it to a head and drain out the pus.
