Really easy, and they go like wildfire!!!
2 cups of grape jelly
1 bottle of Heinz chili sauce
Melt both together, Put in a chafing dish with cooked meatballs.
I'm going to make them for a super bowl party, and I use the frozen Italian meatballs which makes it even easier!!

grape jelly, 1 10-12 oz. jar
chili sauce, 1 bottle
lemon juice, 1 Tablspn.
Use with meatballs or lil smokies. I always use frozen meatballs, brown the meatballs or the lil smokies in a little bit of oil, then add the jelly and chilil sauce.
The secret is to cook these over low medium heat for a long time to get the sauce really dark and rich.
Oh my, so delicious.
We call them Cocktail Meatballs
Happy New Year

I grill the smokies and then dump a small jar of grape jelly in a sauce pan, add the smokies, place over a low heat and allow the jelly to melt. Cook about 15 minutes on low heat. Or, transfer to a crock pot for serving.

one of the other answers is almost on the money but I put about two capfuls of vinegar into each bottle of Chili sauce. Cleans out the bottles and adds a special little tang to the sauce. My recipe calls for 1 cup of grape jelly to 2 bottles of chili sauce. I use my slow cooker and they come out soooo great

I have seen the recipe using Heinz Chili Sauce (comes in a bottle similar to ketchup) or using Heinz Ketchup. I have used both and the taste is virtually the same. Those are the only two ingredients: grape jelly and chili sauce (or ketchup). It makes a very tasty sauce for meatballs or cocktail sausages. :)

Sweet & sour cocktail franks (can also use with frozen mini-meatballs in place of franks)
Ingredients:
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 pounds cocktail franks
40 ounces pineapple chunks -- drained
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients in crockpot; mix well to break up jelly chunks. Cover and cook on HIGH 15-20 minutes to soften jelly and blend sauce ingredients. Cut hot dogs in bite-size pieces and add. Add pineapple. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours; or LOW for 4 hours. Set control to LOW to maintain temperature while serving.

Well look like you got a few ideas by asking here. Here is how I make mine:
1 cup jelly ( I even use raspberry when I want a different flavor.)
1 cup bbq sauce ( I make mine homemade but you can use premade.)
Dash of liquid smoke
Stir together and pour over ribs, chicken, little smokies or use as a sauce for bacon cheeseburgers.

When we were kids my mom used to make this for us. Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray. Split the hot dog down the middle and a stick of cheddar cheese. Squeeze ketchup over the top of this, just enough to cover each hot dog lightly. Bake in a 350 oven until hot dog is warm and cheese is melted and bubbly about 15-20 minutes. It's really good served with rice.
