It will make it harder for the open borders types in the government to 'spin' the elections as 'Americans being for open immigration'.

However, the message is vague, in order to be acceptable to many, which means they will try to spin it, anyhow.

Remember how many for the Senate Bill responded to the bricks being sent them with 'And I agree! Secure our borders and have amnesty and a guest worker program so we know everyone who is here!'

The message of the march is 'secure our borders.'

Still, I think something like this is necessary for those of us on this side of the question, given how they are trying to spin the elections, so I'll go. We might at least get our visa exit tracking system back on line.

Regardless of how many are here and may or may not get amnesty (before the March, potentially), there are hundreds of millions still 'out there' to whom the average pay in Mexico seems a dream to obtain. We really need to get a handle on this.

It already makes me feel better knowing that all is not lost yet. Hopefully it will be a start, as more and more LEGAL CITIZENS come to see the true issue, they will now have a direction to follow. The results I would hope for would be the same as the results that the AMERICAN CITIZENS who protested Vietnam ended up with, the govt being forced to LISTEN to the PEOPLE

The March For America is a show of strength and unity of the American people.Just as the illegal aliens marched last May.But with one exception,it will be legal Americans of all faiths, colors, heritages, and nationality's.with one thing in common
.The Rights of Legal Americans and the need to end the open door policy that the illegal aliens seem to enjoy.I will be in Washington,DC and I'm bringing all my fellow supporters.

It will get media attention, more AMERICANS will become aware of the immense growing problem and our representatives will see we are serious about the issue. WE have every RIGHT to march. If it doesn't do any good we can march again and again and again.

If illegals can march, fly the mexican flag and demand rights in our country, what is the problem with citizens marching and demanding a voice in their government..............

It will remind our government that they work for legal Americans, not illegal criminals.

That is what this "march" will do for us.

It will also speed up your removal, your deportation, your return to your own countries.....

What a great year 2007 will bring !!!

2006-12-31 11:55:07 · answer #10 · answered by Anonymous · 5 3

We will let our government know how citizens of this country feel.

What did all of the illegals think it would do for them?

It is our right as US citizens to protest our government when they are doing wrong. And if they grant amnesty...that is WRONG!!!
