I have a 95 Buick Park Ave.
When I take the key out of the ignition, the heater blower motor keeps going. Any idea what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance for any help... I really do come back to check for answers. :)

The problem is a shorted blower control module. This is located on the top of the AC case under the hood. You might have to take off several layers of plastic covers to get at it. It is about dead center in the car, remove both of the connectors to it and the fan will stop. Cannot repair this at all, have to replace the blower module. I think these are expensive, but not much else you can do. When replacing this module, be very careful not to short out the battery connector that resides close to this on the firewall as all hell will happen if you do. There are numerous fusible links attached here and they take a lot of time to replace if damaged. Take your time and be careful. Good luck.
