All people in all 50 States are entitled to a free credit report 1 time each calendar year. Go to the website below and you will find all the information you need to get the ball rolling.
All folks check this out for yourself. Thank you.

Put a "slash" in between edcams and freereports in the address as this site isn't showing it properly. Its a long address as you can see.

I know what your looking for.
We are supposed to be able to get a "free"copy of your credit once a yr.from the 3 major reporting agencies.I have done that before and got info what i already knew. The most important thing missing from that i dont want to pay then cancel anything , if you find the answer let me know too please!

But it seems we all have to buy( not free) thru someone a credit monitoring service or or an actual expensive product like a car, or a gimmick for trial then cancel just to get a 3 digit score.

Your credit score is a credit report. You are entitled to one free credit report each calendar year. You can start at freecredit report.com. Another way to learn tyour credit score is to apply for a loan. This will generate a credit report and you credit score will be a part of that report.

You can't. You can get your report for free but you have to pay for the score.

you can get a free score from freecreditreport.com. you have to sign up, but you can cancel after the free 30 days. Its a good thing to have if you are looking to buy a first home or expensive car, boat, ect.

Stephy,

Check with your credit card companies!

I was on the phone one day with mine (Washington Mutual). After our business was done, I asked if I could get my credit score (not report). I wanted it/them read to me. Dude said "Do you have access to your account online?" Yes. "Let me walk you through how to get your credit score." How much? "Free for the first year that you have your card with us."

It doesn't hurt to ask!
