My boyfriend is sick this year and therefore don't have any plans for new year. To be honest it's just a cold (typical man though!) but can't face just being boring and having one drink at midnight onmy own!!! Can't go to any of the parties as they are all far away and would have to be going as a couple. Last new year was a really bad one and wanted this one to rock! Any Ideas?!

The fact that your not alone and have your bf to spend New Years with you should make it rock. Many people are alone on this day. Maybe make a list of eveything you have to appreciate in your life starting with your bf. Good luck! Maybe he will feel better by midnight and you two can celebrate the New year doing other thing's. Have fun! '-)

You didn't say how old you were. I assume you are over 21. Anyway, you could agree with your boyfriend to pick another day to celebrate the New Year. If you really want this one to "rock" look for a community, restaurant, radio show, or bar party - that you will have to go to by yourself. Make a commitment to meet two people. Make it a game to see how much you have in common with others at the party. Strong women go to parties alone.

Have your own little party alone or find a friend who also has no plans...get a movie to two to watch or play a board game...watch the ball drop at Midnight, have at toast, be thankful ya got through '06 and send forth wishes for a great '07.

We don't have to be at a party or with our "sweetie" to have a good New Year...make it the best you can with whatever you have to work with.

Slainte'!

You have got 2 options;

1. Go alone, I'm sure you'll start to enjoy, and you will find some friends out there.

2. Stick with your BF, celebrate in ur own way, just 2 of you thats it.

Wish you good luck, Happy New Year.

can it not rock with your boyfriend(if you know what i mean)surely a cold will not deter him from that?if not i think you have to look at the big picture this is only one day out of a whole new year theres always next week to go out and have fun or the next 52wks.you should be able to make yourself happy and so do things you enjoy-a good movie,a nice meal or even a game of twister?have fun and be happy-after all the worlds not ending!

Bad timing, but you know what if you pray for his well being you might be able to drag him to the places you want to enjoy with him. Some people are not physically will, some needs phsycological, some needs medicine and some just needs some quality time, and some needs spiritual, talk to him and listen to his needs. And go from there.

Have a few drinks and give your guy a DEEP Massage----------- there's nothing like THAT when "under the weather", besides, he would no doubt be up to some "Lovin' from you!
Whsiper "Sweet-Nothings" into his ear! Sick or Not, be your SEXIEST ever with him, and I'm sure you will make both of your NEW YEAR'S EVE and New Year's ROCK!

Talk about FIREWORKS!!!!!! YEH!

If it really is just a cold, drag his a$s to a party!
I have a bit of a cold, and I am going out with my neighbour because HER husband is a party pooper. If your bf doesn't capitulate, then have fun with the neighbours. If worst comes to worst. Watch Twilight Zone.
Blessed New Year to You and Yours!

Find one of the parties where they can put you up for the night. If they are friends...why do you need to be there as a couple???

Call a girlfriend and go to a movie, or maybe out to eat. I am sure you must have one friend without plans of her own. Have fun!
