There is such a mess in Iraq right now, they cant afford to sent troops home but at the same time they cant afford to keep troops there. I wouldve thought of a million other reasons where ht ewar on iraq money be better spent. Billions of dollars in the war on iraq yet no progress is being made. Its actually at a stability level right now. If the troops are sent some...america would not be safe from terroists.

I have a theory . If we drop one nuke right in the center of Iraq , then bulldoze and pave it. We can put a huge 7-11 right in the middle and a decent hotel . Anyone that survives gets to work there , and be part owner .
In reality though I think Bush needs to set a deffinate date to pull our people out . We need to set the date so that the Iraqi government will get off its *** and do something .

I say pull the troops far enough away from Iraq that they won't be affected by the radiation and then NUKE the entire region !! After all they have been fighting and killing each other since the middle ages !!

Although I would like nothing better than for our troops to come home, the situation in Iraq needs a change of course. Perhaps and hopefully, Robert Gates can provide that change of course.

We must continue the mission and leave Iraq stable, or at least thats what history tells us. Remember Vietnam? Do YOU want to live there right now? Didn't think so. And a famous saying says that those who do not learn from history are DOOMED to repeat it.

Im Republican, some people might call me a Radical Conservative. But I think we're doing more than we should in Iraq.
I supported going in and still support Operation Iraqi Freedom, but I dont support America fighting in the Iraqi Civil War. Operation Iraqi Freedom is over and the Civil War is beginning, its time for the US troops to pull out. We went in, took out their military, executed their leader (Well THEY executed him, but you get what I mean), took over the country, and established a new government w/ its own militarial force.
We accomplished all of our goals, WE DID OUR JOB. Now its time for us to leave. Let the Iraqis fight the Iraqi Civil War. We should pull out ALL ground troops, and only support the Iraqi Government by funding them/giving weapons and give them air support. We won Operation Iraqi Freedom, and now we need to leave before its the American/Iraqi Civil War.

Im not for the war. But when we went in to Iraq we broke it. Now we have to fix it. Regardless if it takes another 5 years we can not pull out until Iraq is stable (whatever stable turns out to be). Pulling out now would be bad for the Iraqi people who we promised to help and pulling out now would be bad for Americas image. It would send the Vietnam message. That when the going gets tough-America runs.
Once again, i think the war was a mistake. But since we are there we have to see it through.

we must finish in Iraq, however this means that the Iraqi's must step up, the world cannot afford to let Iraq be taken over by Iran, or the insurgency.
