It says tasteless oil on the instructions but being a bit naive on this subject!

vegetable oil. But, if you buy chocolate with a high fat content, the extra oil shouldn't be necessary. My fountain recommended belgian chocolate, but when I checked the fat content I found that plain old Hershey bars had a way higher percentage of fat.

Use chocolate that has 45% cocoa butter content. Dark chocolate mainly, but check the source link for the ideal chocolate for a fountain.

I was watching someone struggle with making theirs flow, so they used olive oil-erghhhh..did the trick, but i didnt want to try it!...sunflower possibly?

We use peanut oil it works great. Make sure your guests have no allergies.
