Tiger Woods became engaged to Elin Nordegren, a Swedish model in November 2003 at the Shamwari Game Reserve. They were introduced during the Open Championship in 2001 by Jesper Parnevik, a Swedish golf star who Elin was employed as his nanny. They married on October 5, 2004 at a golf resort in Barbados. Privacy was insured when the couple bought out the island's only helicopter charter company and booked the entire hotel. The ceremony reportedly cost over $1.5 Million. Tiger and Elin have therefore been married for 2 years and 2 months. And as you probably know, they are expecting their first child this summer!
