storage depends on the size of each picture. If pic size is 128kb then you can store at max 10 pics. i.e. 1024/128 = 10

Well that wuild depend on how many megapixels the camera has. A good camera today wuild probaly be 4-6 mega pixels thats around 1-3 megabits per pic. So you will have a hard time finding a 1 mb SD card any why. If you are into takeing digital pitchers try to find a 1 gb Sd card than you can hold around 500 pics. I hope i havve anserd a few Qs.

One megabite is only one million pixels. Photos taken to email are usually 640 x 480 = 307,200 pixels which is about one-third of a megabite. So with this quality of photo you could only get about 3 pictures on the sd card. You can buy 1 gigabite (1 billion) sd cards for under $20. Depending on picture size, aspect ratio, and quality settings for your camera, you could get between about 50 and 7500 pictures on the 1 Gb card. Most cards are 16 Mb or more.

If you have a 2mpx camera... about two pictures. But I don't think they even make 1MB sd cards. Maybe you meant 1GB sd card, and for that check above (should hold some few hundred photos depending on your camera's resolution and the quality you selected for the photos, compression the camera uses, and so on)

I just checked www.bestbuy.com and they don't sell a SD Card with only 1mb. Check your SD Card for its size and re-ask your question.

I presume that you are using the SD Card in a digital camera, right? If so check your camera's documentation for additional info on SD card capacities. Capacities vary with 1. camera manufacturers, 2. camera models, and 3. the modes of camera operation.

It is dependent on the number of mega pixels of your camera. I just bought a Fujifilm digital camera and for instance the card I bought lists a 128MB card as holding 166 pictures for a 3MP camera down to 56 for a 9MP camera so it is dependent on several factors. Try visiting fujifilm.com (the website for my card) and you should be able to find some information that will help you.
