Be Dan Brown's Claim be true, will this affect ur faith in Christainity and why?
What difference does it make if He is married.Isn't the fact that he made the world better and is a saviour more important?
In Hindu religion most of our Gods are married.
Isn't marriage sacred?Whats wrong if God marries?

I don't think that it will necessarily affect a person's faith in God, maybe the church that has been lying to them for thousands of years, but not God. And whether or not he was man or the son of God, Jesus did many great things in his lifetime and gave faith to nonbelievers, in the end does it really matter who is right? Also, if you have only seen the movie I highly recommend reading the book too, it gives more detail on the symbology of the Grail legend. Also, I love the fact that nobody else answered your question, they just complained about how the book is fiction.

There's only one real problem with Dan Brown's books - Most of the "real church Christians" can't understand how do people earn money :) That's like describing colors to a blind person. But there's also something much more serious - today more people believe that church and God are the same and science doesn't exist. If you just believe in God then nothing can ruin your belief, but if you believe that everything church says comes directly from God then yes - it will affect on your belief. The only thing that I can't understand is if these people are so sure that they are right and they know it is fiction then why can't they just calm down? Isn't that because they're afraid that science will actually win? Personally I believe in both science and God. And I do believe that the only science that can explain your belief in God is psychology, nothing else matters.

yes, it matters, because it goes a lot deeper than he just came here to make the world a better place and be crucified for our sins. It is not something I can explain here or really explain at all. If you are just looking at the gospels for a picture of Jesus - then I guess you can imagine just about anything about his life on earth and think it reasonable. The fact ofthe matter is, Jesus is clearly pictured from Genesis through revelation and a better understanding of Jeish culture, Biblical prophesy, the nature of God and our purpose would give a much clearer picture and understanding of why Jesus was not married.
It does not offend me at all for someone to think that he might have been, it just shows me that they don't really understand Jesus' purpose for being here and they are only looking at things in the flesh, not hte spiritual. We all have to learn at some point.
Dan Breown may have claimed his book was fiction but he had a motive behind writing it- that is between him and God in the long run, for the time being though, people should not speak in ignorance and spread false information that they know people will run with no matter what claims they make- the sole purpose of this book is to raise 'what if's" to those that won't do their own research and try to discredit Jesus to those that have partial truths. Marriage is sacred and there is a marriage- it just is not between Jesus and Mary Magdeline

My dear first read the book "A quest for answers, the DaVinci Code" by Josh McDowell, then see if Jesus was really marriade and everything that Dan Brown says was true, and factual. The point of God or Jesus being unmarriade is that our God is the only true God there is, who would he marry, a human, kind of weird, he would have to marry Mary because that would explain the Holy Ghost coming over her, I guess, but thats what the Mormons believe, so that one s already taken. There is no other Godess for God to marry, if he is the only God. So God has a problem and he won't marry an angel that he created either.

Dan Brown didn't "claim". He created a work of fiction which may have been based on certain postulations, none of which were claimed as anything other than statements of fiction.
The only claims he made toward truth were in certain facts, such as the dimensions of paintings and physical descriptions, etc.
He makes no claim to being a theologian, but does put forth the ideas of some religious groups.
In the end, it's a work of fiction, offending mostly those already insecure in thier own faith.

A) Brown clearly defines his work as FICTION.
B) The claim that Jesus was married is NOT new! It has been the subject of speculation for some time now.
C) What would be changed, other than the status of women, by the church admitting to such claims?
D) Who the hell cares what the church claims is fact or fiction? They rely upon circular FAULTY logic to "back-up their claims!
Bottom line, it is likely that Jesus was married and that the church has hidden such things in order to maintain two powerful positions. 1) Their power over the bind and misled masses. 2) The power that men hold (Held) over women.

Ha, ha, Ha....anybody that believes the Da Vinci Code Delusion has got to be totally ignorant of both Bible history and the Scriptures .
I have to laugh at the foolish people who want to deceive themselves by believing fools. Dan Brown is a deceiver making money of those who are ignorant of the Bible.
However, Scripture predicts that very thing:
" Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy..."(1Tim.4:1)
"...But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (II Tim. 3:12)

Dan Brown is just a guy who's become incredibly wealthy with these claims who aren't even his. Do you think he cares if jesus was married or not? When the money stops coming in he'll make up new claims.
