More than one Happy New Year is unneeded, its sort of annoying. But if you say Happy New Year and then a new message with more meaning, like romance or something, then it is sweet. For "Hi" no more than one, because they should get the message, and for something special, then two or so is fine. Good luck and Happy '07.

It depends how close you are with her. My gf will never mind if I sent her few messages as we keep on sending these frequently. I never get upset if she sends me even the same txt msgs. I think tehre is nothing wrong. But if you still feel guilty about it speak to her and say you would be sending few msgs.
Try it it will work.

well if she is a real friend she wont mind more then one just not to much......and it also depends on what kind of friendship u guys have .....then maybe no....im a girl and i love txt msg from my firends on new years no matter how many show i at least have friends out there showing they are thinking on me for the new year......other then that i am not sure ....good luck

Depends on what the messages said, and now close the girl and guy are. I can't see why she'd be offended but if she and the guy weren't close, she might wonder why he sent 2 of them.

it depends on who sent it, if I did she would be happy. If you did she would probably be creeped out.
