I don't know about baking a cake in a microwave oven- unless it is a prepared mix especially for the microwave- I don't think you can do that with a regular batter.
There are eggless recipes on the internet but if oyu have a recipe that calls for eggs you can either go to your local health food store (some regular groceries might carry it too) and buy an egg replacer mix. EnerG makes a decent one- or you can purchase some flax seed (it is very inexpensive and good for you too) blend 4 - 6 tablespoons of flax seed in one cup of water to replace 2 eggs.
Just make sure that whichever method oyu use- you want to mix the egg replacement into oyur batter right after you prepare it- dont mix the flax or the egg replacer mix with water and let it sit- put it in your batter right away

1/2 tin condensed milk (200gms)
2 3/4 cups plain flour (280gms)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda (soda bicarb)
2 tsp icing sugar
1/2 cup butter melted (60gms)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
100 ml milk
100 ml soda water
Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, all together 2 to 3 times. Keep aside.
Pour condensed milk in a bowl. Add the butter, and beat well till smooth. Add the flour spoon by spoon, mixing into the condensed milk mixture. In between, add milk as required if the butter begins to get too stiff.
[Stir the mixture in one direction only all the while. This will incorporate more air and make the cake lighter].
Once all the flour is used up, beat the batter as above till light (5-7 minutes). Add the soda and mix gently till smooth.
Pour into a greased cake tin. Do not smooth with a spoon etc. If the consistency is right this will not be needed.
Pre-heat over to 300o c. Place tin inside. Bake at 200o c for 5-7 minutes and 150o c till done. (35 to 40 minutes).
Poke with a skewer and check. Cool a little. Invert on wire rack. Cool completely before doing icing if any.

It cannot be done. I told someone on here a couple of weeks ago that you can because I thought I had done it. But..I then baked a cake a day or two later with out the egss (because I thought I had some but didn't) and it was miserable. It was all doughy and sticky and horrible; there was nothing to be done for it. DON'T DO IT. Oh, and if the person I told it could be done is seeing this...I AM SO SORRY!

http://www.ochef.com/218.htm has a lot of good sounding recipes. But they all take a regular oven. So, check out Shamrock Foods pages on cooking in a microwave...or check the booklet that came with your microwave.
