I agree: Tom Sarris's Orleans House. And it IS NW. It's JUST over the TR bridge into VA. Very reasonably priced. You can get JUST the salad bar, which is the most extensive I've seen anywhere, with bread and soup as well as fantastic salads, or you can add a piece of fish or meat.

Wasn't clear on whether you wanted brunch or a brunch buffet. Here are some options. I think Cafe Milano and Dino are the only two that are buffet... other than the cruise, of course!

There is a nice restaurant on Wisconsin Ave. N.W. it is near the Mazza Gallery. It used to be a pizza restaurant a few years ago.

Don't remember what sector it's in, but is the Orleans House still operating there in Rosslyn??? I've got some great memories of that place... GREAT prime rib & unbelievable salad bar.
