Congratulations!!! I'm hoping to make an announcement like that real soon myself.
Maybe you can draw a picture of a little baby on your belly. That would be cute.

Buy your twins shirts that say "I'm the big brother/sister." Let them give the news to your husband. Congratulations! Don't give your toddlers too much information yet; they don't have a well developed sense of time and the birth of the new baby is still very far away.

First.. don't tell the kids until you are much farther along.
1. It's difficult for them to understand the amount of time you have to wait for a baby and will ask all the time.
2. They will tell everyone else
3. If something goes wrong it is not easy explaining that to a child. I just had to explain that to my 5yr old son.
As for daddy, do it tonight at midnight. Tell him you can't wait to spend another year with him and your three beautiful children.

Get your twins to tell him that your pregnant, practice telling them that when daddy comes home, run and tell him that they want a baby bro or sis or that mommy is having a baby. Or you can take a safety pin and put a note on both there shirts and have them to take it to dad and let him read them and you stay back and watch his reaction. On one shirt write "Mommy is having" and on the other shirt write " a baby" or a "brother or sister for me". This would be cute! Good Luck

Wrap him up a gift with a baby item in it, at a romantic dinner for just the two of you. For your kids I would go get them or make them t shirts that say I am going to be a big sister/brother. Then have them help you make a little tshirt for the baby to come home in.

Write it on a card or something and wrap it up.. tell him you have something for him for New Years.. as far as the kids, if they were older Id say do a word puzzle but since they are so yound you should probably just let them watch their daddy open his present.. they will get the idea and be just as excited as he will be.. Good luck!
