We do pork & sour kraut new years eve 'till midnight, then start the country ham & black eyed peas in the slow cooker (I think I am gonna try adding rice too) so that when Momma wakes up new years day we have a fabulous smelling salty-yummy dish to enjoy!

I like to make a lot of snacks, but my favorite is to brown hamburger, add chilli or salsa, velveeta, and cream cheese. Put it all in a crock pot til the velveeta melts. Its yummy!
