Depends on who's calling you a snob and how the word is used. SNOB has typically referenced a person thinking they above others and raises their nose at the sight of people they think they are above. I don't quite understand why you would want to be perceived this way. Could lead you to miss out on some great friendship's. Remember the feet we step on today could be attached to the @ss's we may someday have to kiss. '-)

If you really are a snob, that could be something you might want to work on. However if you dont see a peoblem with being a snob, well, you can ,live you life how you choose, but it would be a mistake.

Its not a problem if you deal with people that think the same way as yourself, they wont see it...ie if everyone eats garlic they cant smell it on another. However, if you have been labelled that way it may be clear that you have NOT been dealing with people of like mind.....so it could become a problem, irritant or drawback especially in the workplace as MOST deal with the general public at some point. If you snub people and you think your better than them you are a snob. Of course maybe you just like to belittle people and make them feel bad, unwanted and unliked. Yep that means snob to me.

If you go around dissing people it is going to catch up with you. Also a snobby attitude will sooner or later equate to immaturity.

Up to you. You have a right to be who you are. But if you hear something over and over, it could be accurate.
