Cats are not evil, they just retain a wild instinct that they need to survive out in this evil world.

I have found, from personal experience, that cats will respond well to affection, love, and especially ham.

It starts at birth. (This is very scientific!) You see, when a kitten or puppy is born, it has a need for food. When a kitten is taken from it's mother, It has no way to acuier that food. It is mentally scard for the rest of it's life which at the greater age turns in to an anger that will cause what you call evilness. Once this has been done, there is no turning back. You can help with the healing of the scar by taking great love and attention to it. You cat is not evil, just mistreated. That might also be by room calling it evil. Although it may not understand what evil means, you inside need to show a love and understanding of the cat's needs.

My cat was also evil.... And I'm not using this term lightly. When I wasn't around she bit my mother (who I was living with at the time), literary took hunks of skin out of her. For some time I considered getting rid of her. I tried everything, the vinegar/water squirt bottle; confinement; baths even. One thing I didn't try was actually spending time with the cat like I used to before I moved in with my mom.
Now that I've gotten my own apartment again, Pooh's behavior has gotten alot better. When I go away now, and have my mother cat sit for me; Pooh acts like they're good friends, like the old incidents never happened.

So maybe it's the environment? Maybe you've spoiled it? There are many answers to your question.

it's not evil. It's poor behavior. Need to take more time with the cat but it's probably too late. Habits are set. Give the cat to someone who has time for the cat

You've just trained it wrong. Spray it with water when it does something you don't like.

It may also be bored and just looking for attention. If you don't have enough time to spend/play with it I recomend getting a second cat for it to interact with.

Is the cat male or female ? Male neutered cats will always be more needy. Female fixed cats will always be less friendly and some are downright mean if completely ignored.

Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary:

Day 683 of my captivity: My captors continue to taunt me with
bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat,
while the other inmates are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets.
Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I
nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.. In an
attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at
their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts,
since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they
merely made condescending comments about what a "good little
hunter" I am. The audacity! There was some sort of assembly of
their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for
the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and
smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the
power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use
it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one
of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I
must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and
snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly
released --and seems to be more than willing to return. He is
obviously retarded! The bird has got to be an informant. I observe
him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he
reports my every move. The captors have arranged protective custody
for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe....... for now....

there is no such thing as an evil animal, they do what they do because of outside stimulus, cats are buggers its true, but they can also be loving and sweet...

I have a 14 pound large black cat that pees everywhere, beats up his own mother, miaows loudly all the time, and constantly fights with every other animal he sees, but hes so soppy and sweet with me I just love him to bits!!!

My old cat was sooooooo evil , My friends were scared of him as he used to attack everyone apart from me......In the end I put an ad in the paper to find him a good home and totally lied my pants off saying he was a warm and loving family cat. I did feel a wee bit guilty for the people who took him but hey-ho!!

Well, because you havent specified why he is ''evil''. Im left in the dark here. But im guessing that hes scratching you and things like that?
Try disciplining him by spraying him with water and using the word ''NO'' firmly.

No idea what else to put because you didnt say what your cat was actually doing.

Anyway, I hoped that helped! :S

Your kitty isn't "evil". Evil refers to the "bad" aspects of the behaviour and reasoning of human beings — those which are deliberately void of conscience, and show a wanton penchant for destruction. Who's to say that kitty's behaviour and reasoning are deliberately void of conscience? Perhaps, kitty's conscience is fundamentally different from yours. Maybe your cat thinks that you are "evil".
