It means you are crazy and desprate. How can you trust him now? He cheats on you and can't answer you (be honest)? Are you that desprate? Even if you think you are ugly and unloveable, you aren't. There are so many other poeple out there, and I would bet you that within a year he will either cheat on you or leave you and you will be there crying with your STD.
Here is your choices;
Stay and be ignorant and desprate
Make him choose between a test (and you get all the paperwork) or breaking up.
Leave and find what you really deserve. This will loom over your head for the rest of your releationship.

Why are you with him? He cheated on you and won't tell you if he's been tested for a STD. You must have a really low self-esteem. Don't ask "Why wouldn't he answer me?" Ask yourself, why you want this scumbag back? Plus get tested. He might have cheated before.

Steer clear if he wont answer you. honesty is usually best policy. When I met my x and I was falling in love the first thing I did was make him aware of anything he should be aware of. I nver discussed my past relationships but anythign that could affect him in a sexual relationship I was open about.

it either means he does and won't tell you or that he isn't sure himself, tell him you won't have sex with him until you know if he has an STD or not and if it means having him tested and he refuses then i say leave him and find someone more faithful, good luck

I'd say so. Get tested yourself and if you've been true to him, you'll know if you have it and where you got it.
