I guess George Washington is guilty of murdering thousands as well. I guess Winston Churchill is responsible for all those deaths during WW2. How about any leader that had the courage to stand up to tyranny.

Thou shalt not kill, means pre-meditated murder. If you read your OT in full , you will see where war is ok biblically when it is to protect the innocent from evil. Granted it is sad how so
many people had to die to fight for freedom, but still it is not murder in the sense of a sin. Just remember if you are living in America, long before we were born people fought for the freedom that we have now. I am not saying I am happy about the war in Iraq but I am saying that there is a HUGE difference between killing to murder someone and killing to protect. I know that people will disagree and that is ok, but this is how I feel, so please respect me too,

Are you aware that they found mass graves in Iraq that Saddam was responsible for? He was almost like Hitler!!
We need more people like Bush. He is just doing his job making our country and world a safer place. I just don't understand why you people can't see that.

thou shalt not kill [or murder]
this has the least debate in my searches
to me god[a sign of god] is life
gods life potential is even in a blade of grass a seed ,an ant,
jesus revealed love of neighbour and love of god,
but that love is expressed in seeing gods sign life even in the seed that was murdered to make our daily bread
any claiming to love god or love jesus ,must respect life and not mindlessly destroy any god gave to live.
sadam may have been evil but is it him or the system
will if he repented and converted to christ ,also be able to say jesus died for him
died for his sin
sin is forgiven /forgivable or not
does the workman who gets the wages of gods grace ,have the same as to whom much was given/ forgiven
if we have been forgiven the little things cab christ or our/his father also give grace to repentants?
was he showed the grace by his christian brothers ,that jesus shewed the tax collecter and the harlett?
we let sadam be hung
we rejoiced his dying
very christian ,or humans forgetting that jesus sought to teach
let thee with out sin cast the first stone
we who rely on christ grace and our fathers grace
who are we to judge or denie
same with bush
walk a mile in thier shoes ,see what choice you got in the whole deal
no leader is an island ,system failures alone let one man pretend to be god like ,we create huge monoploies and set dictators up into armed occupation ,but what other option
do you want the blame for that done in your name
he wernt no saint [neither of em ] but rulers make thier own measure by which they rule ,hind sight is great but so is media manipulation
hitler didnt gas the jews ,he over saw the system that did it
it was people following orders or get shot
it still is that might is right , even though we know ,some of us think to know its not
far as i know gwb didnt drop a single bomb ,didnt make any ,didnt design any nor even know whast type on what yet who gets the blame or credit
same with any leader
they cant check every little thing is being/been done ,yet become the fall guy when the system fails.
i dont love either but i cant hate them with out knowing why ,let god decide.

The Commandment you are saying is "thou shalt do no murder" when translated correctly. Which means premeditated, to lie in wait for someone. War is war, and there are going to be deaths unfortunately on both sides.
