Yes, it's too heavy for a ceiling; you will need to screw a large hook into a joist, not the ceiling. It's not as important that it be near a wall or a corner. You can find the joist by either tapping until you can detect a less-hollow sound, or use a "stud finder" device. In either case, I recommend boring several very tiny holes, in a line at right angles to the joist, that are big enough to allow a large paper clip to be inserted up in the ceiling to probe around. The technique allows you to find the edges of the joist, which should be approximately 1-5/8 inches wide. Once you know where the edges are, finding the center is easy. Be sure and test the hook before you start punchin away - it would be terrible if you sent that 70 lb bag flying out a window on top of a passerby.

The obvious remedy was before me, stop punching the bag. But the next best is to use proper protection. I would not hit so hard and concentrate on proper technique while painful.
It use to be that many martial artist, after work out, would soak their hands in heavily salted water. This promotes faster healing and toughens the skin.
Caution, be prepared to have large, discolored knuckles later,

there's boxing gloves you can buy. I used to punch a punching bag at my gym all the time and I would always come home with bloody knuckles. It's not gonna hurt to bleed a little bit, but it will hurt when you decide to start punching the next day. Try the gloves!

Get boxing gloves instead of taping your knuckles! They have padding for this, so that your knuckles will be saved for later...

I wish you well..
