Perhaps the easiest way is with a mini FM transmitter. The radio in my car has a line in connector on front which will accept the MP3 player output. This is a much higher quality connection than using the FM receiver.

I believe Walmart has an adapter that might work. It looks like a cassette tape that plugs into the mp3 player. It also plugs into a portable CD player.

I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01
It's not wireless.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced with a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio (is so equiped).
This is the answer. Totally versatile.

Another way thats prob is the cheapest. You can hard wire it. Many aftermarket Cd players these days have rca inputs in the back of them. You can buy a Y cable thats plugs rca into the Headunit and other end into your MP3 player.
I hope that helps!

walmart carries a thing that goes into your ciguritelighter, it displays a number and you turn your radio to that station, they have a place where you can plug a thumb drive into and also a audio input at the side of this thing. I use mine all the time, I use a 256mb & 1Gig Thumbdrives with mine and they work great!!! As I said before you can get it at walmart back in automotive for about $30., For the price its great!!
