If it's just messing around, catch and release, if I'm camping where's the butter babe.

I do keep the odd one to eat, but if i have fish already at home i release what i catch. I don't like to see people just take all they catch. I enjoy this sport so much that i would not like to spoil it. It would be nice to educate new comers to the sport.

I love to fish and I love eating fish, if that's what you mean, but I'm more into catch and release. If I had to scale, gut, clean and fillet it myself, I don't think I could eat it!!!
Unless it was some sort of survival situation, then I guess you do what you gotta do!

I never really enjoyed eating the fish, so I stopped fishing. I plan to start again someday, when my kids are older, but we'll just catch what we will eat, preferably while backpacking.

fishing is pure sport for me, Some times I like to eat fish, but once I have the choice of taking the fish home or letting it go, my fun is over and I'll usually just release it, maybe he and I will play another day!

Depends on the Fish. I don't fish for anything I don't eat. Hy-bred Strippers are good as is Red Snapper, but my favorites are Bluegills, Crappie, and Perch.
