I was confused about the identity of Santa Claus and the preacher in our church, cause they were both fat and had beards. I saw the preacher and had no reason to doubt his existence.

Eventually I realized that reindeer can't fly, cause of the scientific evidence against that. But Jesus can fly, way up in the sky, and even in space.
And when I read about Adam and Eve, and the talking snake, I was mesmerized; I had suddenly found stories to replace Santa Claus.

I was about 9 or 10....But I was also told that Santa Clause was actually a real person and parents and guardians throughout the years carried on his legacy.

So actually, there was a Santa Claus, he was just not the one leaving us presents.

My parents never felt the need to tell me about the myth of Santa Claus. And that was fine with me.

I was 7. First my mom told me that the Easter Bunny wasn't real. That was *devastating*. I cried so much! Mom didn't say anything about Santa. However in the 8 months between Easter and Christmas I slowly figured out that if the Easter Bunny thing wasn't real, Santa probably wasn't either. For awhile, though, I would tell my friends that I didn't believe in the Easter Bunny, but I still believed in Santa . . . then I said I "half-believed" in Santa. Finally I gave it up, but it was much less traumatic than when I learned about the Easter Bunny.

Santa Claus is disgusting as a role model (or a fun figure) for children.

I was 9 or 10 I think. XDDD I always argued with my cousins because they said that there was no Santa Claus, and I was so sure he really existed... xDD So when I realized it I felt really stupid. XDDDD
