Hi Jennifer,
That is a very thoughtful idea! One of the best cards I have ever received and the ones I appreciate most are the ones that are made by the sender. It may look crude, or unprofessional, but they cared enough about you to take the time to give from their heart, and not the all mighty dollar to make a statement of love and friendship.
Try it, you might like it, and so will the receiver.....

why not make a card? It would represent your exact sentiments. There are lots of card making programs out there and at $3-4.00 a card, it doesn't take long to pay for itself if you need to buy a program.
If it were me, I would make a card and use the 'extreme makeover' idea or one of the other remodeling shows as inspiration to make the card.
It would make the card more personal and say exactly what you want to say.

I'm not for sure, but what i would do is send them a HUGE plastic BEACH ball from say wal-mart, with these words written with black marker on it:
I hope you have a ball in your newly remodled home.
love,
the jones..
p.s.
you can mail it and the kids and adults will get a kick out of it.(no pun attended)

I don't think I've ever seen a card for this situation, but you can always get a blank one.
