suposedly in wichcraft any spell you cast will come back on you three-fold so if you casta good one even better stuff will happen to you and if you cast a bad one more bad things will happen to you. It probably also is because the fairy tales are suppose to teach a lesson, so if there was a big scary old witch with long fingernails living in a forest near your home and your parents told you this story you probably wouldn't go anywhere near the place right. And I am pretty sure witches aren't real.

I think it is just a stereotype. You should realise that witches come in all shapes and sizes, and are generally practical women. This means that they usually choose to cut their nails to keep their hands useful.

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, particularly if they are artificial, but they are good for scratching and opening those little foil wrapped containers that are so hard to get in to.

I prefer girls who have got a natural look... sure makeup and also other things are good, but whenever it is used to enhance your natural look.

Why? I don't know - genetics I suppose. In my case they're long and still strong enough to carve wood... But I don't use them for anything and I have to keep trimming the ones on my left hand so I can play guitar or fiddle. They grow back quick enough to be a nuisance in about a week or two.

Not sure, but this is posted under pets/birds. You may want to rethink this to another catagory.

cos they don't go for manicures.
they don't do any housework because they cast a spell to do it and so don't break them making beds, washiing dishes etc etc.
And no, i don't know any real witches to compare them.
