They are called "Lipomas" usually harmless unless they inhibit movement..keep an eye on them if they get hard get them checked out by a vet... they can do a fine needle aspirate and tell you more about them... but if they are soft/mushy then just watch them for rapid growth, hardness, or if it starts making it difficult for your pup to move (like armpits etc...)good luck .... Happy New Years...smile.....

Bullmastiff Skin Bumps

Sounds like a tumor. She needs to see a vet -- it is NOT something you can diagnose and treat on your own! Ask your vet if s/he takes payments, and can set you up with a payment plan. Otherwise, put it on a credit card and make sure you pay it off in less than a year or you'll be paying interest forever. I am saying this in the most respectful way I can: if you have a dog, you should be prepared to pay for medical treatment of it. Good luck, and I hope it's nothing serious.

Well... you got lots of answers, and I agree with some of them, but from your description it is impossible to positively identify these "bumps"..A trip to a qualified vet is a must.... your Bullmastiff could have a life-threatening condition. Don't wait! A cancerous tumor can kill your dog.

My golden retriever had bumps all over them and they were tumors, there is not much you can do about it, this also depends on how old you dogs is, treatment is very very expensive , and on old dogs usually is not worth it. My dog lived 6 years after his tumors

I am not sure if the breed has skin problems but they sound like fatty tumors. Ugly but not dangerous. Cockers get them. All breeds have some problems. Come with age.

HI
this breed tends to get cysts under their collars and fatty tumors. A trip to the vet can ease your mind. If they are cysts under the collar remove the collar and try a harness, if they are under where the harness is take it off and only use it when you need it.

If he is over 5 years old, they are most likely sebaceaous cysts - harmless 'old dog lumps'. But if one bursts or suddenly changes, have him seen by a vet to rule out cancer. Otherwise, just have your vet check them on his yearly check-ups.

sounds like cysts or tumors to me . I had an irish wolfhound that had these and he had to have it removed . the vet suggested that they be removed . at first i thought he might have cancer but then the vet told me that they took a biopsy and all it was ,was a fat cysts but still have your vet check it . could be something ,could be nothing but still have it checked. good luck to you and god bless you.
