Since you have about 36 inches of colon, yes its safe to "hold a fart".. as it has a lot of storage area..
Though, it may be "uncomfortable", it wont "kill or hurt" you...
Just weigh the "shame" against the "pain".. and see which comes out :) LOL!

im not sure.once i did that and ate some bad meatloaf.my large intestines were backed up.i had to get surgery and they stuck a big stick up my ***.
