I've never had serious thoughts of suicide, but I have often felt death would be welcome. I can't believe anyone has not at least felt that much, that death would be sweet...
Freud wrote a lot about the death wish; he felt every one shares this as a basic drive.

I have never thought of suicide but my nephew just committed suicide in N ovember of this year. Just remember you can never take it back. It is the most hurtful pain for family and friends that love you. Get help! My nephew had been dealing with depression for a long time. He would stop taking his MEDS and then he would get very depressed again. He was a wonderful and smart person and we all miss him very much.

I have thought about it multiple times and attempted several. I think if most people are honest probably about 75% of the population has thought about it, even if it was just a passing thought

I have never had thoughts along those lines.... You need to realize, that somebody, somewhere in the world has problems greater than yours, just pick up the peices and keep on truckin' . . . besides, there are always people that you can talk to if you're not happy with life.

Do you not know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by your heavenly Father who loves you very much? He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows every thought you think.
You said sometimes you have thoughts of suicide. Put those thoughts out of your mind and read God's word, His Holy Bible.
Fill yourself with Scripture like "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." "With faith ... all things are possible to those who believe." God tells us, "Be still and know that I am God." "If God be for us, who can be against us?"
Fill your mind with His word and it will change your life. No one will ever love you, like your heavenly Father loves you. Shouldn't you know Him?
