My crush is playing hard-to-get and I'm was playing that game a long time ago. We both like each other because he told me that he did and I told him. It's kind of hard to get to know a person while they are playing hard-to-get and he won't stop! I cut down to the personal secret level, but he isn't even telling me his favorite color! I want to get to know him and all, but he won't let me!

Perhaps you need to turn the tables, and give him the cold treatment... perhaps he will then try and pursue you.
It may be that he is coy, because he KNOWS you fancy him and you are EASY TO GET... no doubt, if he REALLY fancies you, he will pursue you, as soon as you stop making it obvious that you have a crush on HIM.
Try it. Nothing to lose.

His playing "hard to get" is working. You are obsessing over him to an unhealthy extent.
When he does give you even a minuscule look at his "feelings" you'll respond by rewarding him in a disproportionate amount...
(I picture him "admitting" to being sad and lonely sometimes-- and you instantly hop into bed with him in order to "encourage" him to open up more...)
What you don't understand is that he's playing you, and after he gets what he wants, he'll dump you and move on to the next challenge.
Just my opinion, but from the evidence you've offered, what other conclusion is there?

He could be enjoying your coaxing so he won't stop his playing hard-to-get. Think: he can't get to know you well enough when you are playing hard to get but he can make you tell him things by playing hard to get. Of course he won't stop. Tell him that it's either calling it quits or you start seeing other people.

If this game goes on for too long----he is just a tease and not really interested. Or maybe he is shy and not able to go to the next step. Give it time, don't push it till he seems ready.\. He sounds immature but may not really be a bad guy.

Men can be pigs, can't we?
He sounds like a bad wicket, I'm afraid. Take an interest in someone else and see if it pushes him into action.
If not, he is a no go.
