I mean like i like the sound of trickling water, and the singing of bird song that i wake up to in the morning....... are there certain sounds that you like to hear?

I have a CD of thunderstorms and rain that I love to listen to. It is so relaxing.

When I was a kid, living with my parents, about 2 miles away there was a train track. I would listen to the train at night make the clack-clack sound in the distance while I was asleep (we did not have air conditioning then, windows were always open).
I miss hearing that sound. Nearest train track now is about 10 miles away.
Funny, when we are young, living with our parents, we want to grow up and move out, be on our own. After we grow up, we discover how many great things we had when we lived with our parents, that we will NEVER have again after we leave.

I have a favorite female singer that I am going to hear tonight. This lady has the voice to sing like none other I have ever heard. She does more than sing...she opens her mouth and the music just radiates....my favorite sound in the whole world!

Laughter, giggles, chuckles of people I love, kids or people in general when they are having a good time..
as well as hearing them talk... I feel extremely lucky to hear them speak for it could our last moment together.
I also like to hear the whoosing sound of wind and the powerful sound of a waterfall.. oh and the ocean..and rain-when the rain is hitting hard on my window and I am inside trying to sleep..

The whine of a motorcycle engine at speed as you shift into that last gear while you accelerate up to top speed...the combination of the scenery bending and the cry of the pipes is almost as good as sex...with clothes on!
