As far as quality goes? I know as far as price goes there is a difference but how about picture quality?

Very little difference would be noticeable by the human eye - and particularly if you are not going to enlarge photos beyond 6x4 or 7x5 - the drive to ever more megapixels is a marketing ploy by the camera maufacturers to make sad people sell a perfectly good camera every six months or so in order to buy the latest offering. I have a 5 megapixel camera and a 6.2, and I've just opened a print from each in Photoshop CS. The 5 mp gives a picture 2560x1920 pixels, the larger 3008x2000.

When u see the picture as a whole, it wont make much of a difference to the human eye. But if u try to zoom it in a comp, u will see that the picture will differ as u zoom in and that the 6.0 megapixels picture becomes blurred sooner.

1.2 megapixels. That means that the 7.2 has 120% of the quality of the 6.0.

yeah ... the image capture by a 7.2 Mega pixels will be bigger and has more details than the 6.0 Mega pixels, but it depends on what kind of details you are looking for and what is suitable for you... beside there are other features to look at, like night mode, clear image, good colors ... etc
