My snickers went into labor last night around 8PM. She was shaking, her body temp. was lower and I could see her push a little. I saw a light green bubble sticking out of her, it popped, it was watery. Well its now 8:20 AM and theres no kittens. Do you have any suggestions? How long can a cat be in labor for? If there is some kind of vet hotline number, please give it to me.

Thanks!

Find the number of an emergency Vet or call your Vets office.
Most will have an answering service in operation when they are not in and will call you back.

One of the kittens maybe stuck in the birth canal...you need to get her seen by a Vet ASAP!

You NEED to find a number for an emergency vet hospital in a phone book. Cats should go no longer than 2 hours of pushing between kittens. She could have a kitten stuck, so you really really need to get her to an emergency vet immediately, where they can evaluate her current progress and suggest a plan of action. Obviously, there is a high chance she may need a c-section.

Good luck.

If I call my vet after hours for an emergency and push 4 he is paged and calls me. Look in the phone book for an animal hospital. Good luck!

Speaking with your vet would be the best thing to do. As for how long they are all different.
