I see my "Higher Power" as a loving, supportive, guide. Now I have a question for you.....
Who ever said that the being that is percieved as "God" is a he?, oh wait I know .....all those old men from early biblical times! has anyone ever been able to prove that this "being" is a he? no, so until it can be proven I prefer to address this "being" as I stated in the first sentence as my "Higher Power"...btw if you do some research you'll find that before Christianity the gods and goddess were the higher powers and all had equal say in matters, so another question would be....what makes anything so different now....just because some old men say it is?

You are the first person I have ever seen here start a question with "I imagine God as..." Kudos.
I imagine God in the classic, based-on-Zeus way. Old man, long white beard. Like Santa Claus, without the red suit and reindeer.

God is in my heart, my soul, God is everything for me.
I don't want to imagine HIM, it's enough to look at at he stars, the moon, the sun, the ocean and all that didn't suffer a lot because of us (human beings without mercy) HE IS LOVE.

This is a question that could be answered in a books worth but I see God as a loving Father who nurtures his children with the love only God himself can give - total self giving as he gave his only Son for us.
