I am medication for an under active thyroid (50) and have been for 3 or more months. I want to know what will happen to me if I start taking a diet pill also?

I have done this before, but the trick was, to take about a third of the diet pill for starters, and check to see if my heart rate was too fast, or if I couldn't sleep at night, or if it raised my blood pressure...ON about a third of one, I did just fine. you don't want a heart attack or a stroke.

Corie,
Whether you're taking thyroid medication or not, taking diet pills is never a good idea. Just read the small print on the bottle. Instead, try an all natural appetite suppressant such as 100% pure hoodia. But before you do this, always consult your doctor first. Good luck to you and take care of yourself!
