Gus has an interesting definition of the sin against the holy spirit. but there is a splitting of hairs where the Holy Ghost is different than the Holy spirit? so sinning against the holy spirit cannot be the worst sin

born again show his ignorance when he says:The LDS is a non-Christian cult that twists and distorts the Word of God. .What he is ignorant of is that the whole world is a cult and christians are just as much a cult whether they are protestant or catholic. Each point their finger at the other as being apostates. in my opinion All reigions are corrupted no matter what they say and not matter what their heritage has been. what counts is the truth ! and also what lies are found out in the secrets of darkness.

In the scriptures, something that causes disgust or hatred to the righteous and pure.
That is an abomination to God.
Lying lips are abomination to the Lord, Prov. 12: 22. Pride is abominable in the sight of the Lord, Jacob 2: 13-22. The wicked are consigned to a view of their own abominations, Mosiah 3: 25. Unchastity is most abominable above all sins save murder and denying the Holy Ghost, Alma 39: 3-5. The indignation of the Lord is kindled against their abominations, D&C 97: 24.
So all of those things. I am not sure what your question is though since you provided a like to answer...

All sins are an abomination to God. But the worst sin, is the sin of denial/arrogance A person can be full of faults and sins, yet if they realise their sinfulness and ask for mercy and their intentions are good, God will forgive them.
A person who thinks they do not need to be forgiven, nor do they need God, is lost. For even if they had not sinned greatly in their life in any other aspect, their heart is hardened against a God they do not accept, nor will they consider. How can God save an obstinant soul?
I do believe that impurity is one of the worst sins against God, for sure, but even an impure person, if they call down His mercy can be forgiven. How can a person that refuses forgiveness have any hope?
I believe the sin against the holy spirit is a person who throws God's gift of salvation back in His face.
I would not gamble on any sin, we are all guilty, but we must strive always to live as Christ taught and avoid those He pointed out and condemned. HIs gift of salvation is there for all of us to cleanse us and give us a chance to strive again to keep our lives straight. Falling down again will happen, but it's the getting back up again that is the key.

Pretty ironic that this comes from the LDS who believe(d) in multiple wives, replacing the old one with a younger model from time to time, still I guess religion doesn't realy do irony.
