Well, as Saddam was captured in December of 2003 (if I remember correctly), I can't say that I think 3 years is hasty---so NO. Of course, many people will judge by US standards, which have been amended over the years (mostly by lawyers) to promote more business for themselves. Our own justice was much speedier earlier in our own 200+ year history. Who are we to preach?

Justice was served, do you think that the administration want to spend a lot of time on trying Saddam for all his crimes, there will be a lot of bad publicity for the Bush family and past adminastrations
THE US and Britain sold Saddam Hussein the technology and materials Iraq needed to develop nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction.
the pictures of Rumsfeld shaking hand with Saddam would surface again
On October 6, 1976, the worst terrorist act in the history of Latin America took place when a Cuban airliner was blown up in mid flight off the coast of Barbados. All 73 passengers and crew members died.

George Bush Sr. never answered the questions he was asked at the Senate hearing on the matter. To the contrary, over a decade later as president of the United States, he arrogantly pardoned Orlando Bosch, a scenario that is very likely to be repeated by his son with another Cuban-born terrorist Luis Posada Carriles.

You are cent % right. The Government needs to be blamed. There is insufficient judges to give verdicts. The so called lawyers also are not bothered to finish the cases in time. There has been an inordinate delay caused in the court proceedings. Favoring politicians has been the order of the day. Justice denied in India is accountable for at least 40%

In the U.S. our system is much longer and time consumming than iraqs. I personally dont believe in a death sentence! Life is good enough for horrific crimes. Its meant to be a punishment! Saddam, was evil and did very bad things but I think prision would have served his punishment.
