Rock is hard beat music; rock n' roll is more melodic - hip hop is more a reciting of poetry.....

A huge difference, my friend.. Hip Hop is just a bunch of people who really have no talent at all cuz all they do is talk(they dont even sing) about sex, girls and bling bling with all the words rhyming together making it sound like a nusery rhyme more than a song with some weird background music which they probably didn't compose at all. Also, there is absolutely no meaning behind those songs.
Rock.. Now we're talking about real music here. Lots of people think "oh rock.. all they do is scream". But heck no, you don't necessarily scream in a rock song. Most Rock bands don't even scream at all. And in Rock, you're gonna need some skills. Like you gotta know how to play an instrument. And actually know how to sing.. And not talk. And Rock songs actually has got meanings behind it. And its not all about sex and girls and stuff like that. There's more to it.

The difference in Rock and Hip Hop is the musical instruments or maybe the way they are used when performing the song... Then it all comes down to your musical preference. I do listen to some rock music and find it quite enjoyable but I still love my hip hop all at the same time.

in hip hop peole are just talking about sex,crimes and that stuff!eminem is the best example!he is also a nationalist!
rock music is serious they sing about real things!RHCP ROCKS!

hip hop i think doesnt use musical instrument ..unlike rock,
the tempo of hip hop is much faster than rock,,,

wow...in rock u cant even understand what the people are saying cuz they're screaming so much
Rap is better cuz it easy to learn the words and acually listen to a rap song without gettin a headache or hurting your throat
