Talking about voice ranges on guys...what do you prefer...a lower range voice on a guy as in like the singer for creed or tim mcgraw (baritone/bass), or do you like a higher range like ne-yo, akon, or someone from the backstreet boys or something (tenor)?

Like I've been told that my vocals sound a little like the singer from creed and a little like aaron lewis from staind.... my guitar playing is somewhere between 3 doors down, latter metallica, and stone temple pilots....my solos are more like slash's from guns n roses tho

I'm a bass or baritone person myself generally. There are a few exceptions, though. When I lived in Branson, I would go see this show regularly, and there was this guy who could hit these amazing high notes. Every time he sang it sent chills up my spine. I had the biggest crush on him.

I think Clarence Carter has the sexiest voice, and I think he's a baratone. Also Barry White has a wondeful deep voice. High pitched voices are just not sexy!

I am constantly in awe of Darren Hayes' supreme vocal talent, he can be all over the shop! one second he's way down here *points to floor* and in the next bar he's sky high, higher than any female i have ever heard. it's just amazing. (Darren was the vocalist for Savage Garden)
