Have you ever met someone who´s...?

Have you ever met a person who is just such a good person, you know? ..is really sweet even though they may not know it and who makes you laugh..some one who is funny and smart...and has a deep soul, although not many people see it...and they just make you happy simply by talkin to them...someone you think you may even have fallen in love with a little...but you know that due to certain circumstances that..you could never really be together...so how do you let go ...how do you get over the nicest person you have ever met?

And you find yourself comparing every other person you meet to them...is it just natural to compare new people with one´s you loved before or..it it just completely wrong and unfair..or maybe both?

This question makes me sad and brings something very personal to mind. I understand the pain of caring about someone and realizing circumstances will always keep you apart. Love isn't always enough. You just have to accept it and move on. The hurt will always be there but you *can* find happiness.

Sometimes the universe does these things to us. I think it likes to have a good laugh at our expense sometimes. That is life.

well its natural... the thing is when you meet a right person you'll find yourself not comparing her to them anymore!
trust me it has happened to me too!
You just need to really meet right person!
you have to agree that there is no such thing as the nicest person... i mean they couldnt have been better then anyone else in the world... its just that they were the nicest YOU have ever met. So dont hold ur head low and im sure you gonna meet someone one day that will stop all that weird feeling!

I wonder why you could never really be with this person. Ask yourself WHY...it might help you get over the person. You can also list this person's qualities and hold these standards as what you want for a partner. Not comparing the person, but holding out for those special qualities.

You remind me of myself... -_-; The only way that I can get over it is by telling myself that since he's the nicest person, he definitely deserves someone better than me.

I take into consolation that at least my meeting him is a blessing. He changed me for the better, anyway; I'm thankful for that. ^_^ I hope you will not feel too depressed for too long. It's harmful to your youth~ ^__^

It sounds like the story of my life.
I have a real good friend just like the one you describe.
If we were both single I would have to go see her, even though we are states apart.
