When I turn my computer on, it will all work OK for ..Ohhh...anywhere from 2 seconds to 20 minutes, and then my screen will go funky....ie: thin vertical lines in whatever colour happens to show up. Originally thought a virus, but Norton says no to that. Took the drive to a tech., he ran it all day, scanned it a couple times, says it must be the monitor, 'cause the drive seems OK. When I hooked it all back up, it worked just fine all day. I then wanted to load a new game, and as soon as I put the disc in and the drive starts to work, it does the same thing. However, I tried it a few times, and finally it started to load, but after finishing with disc 1, it did the same thing. Now it will work for mail, searches etc. but every time I try to load my game, it goes bad on me. Any thoughts from those of you in the know?

hey there. Sorry to hear.
You've given a good specific answer to the problem that caused.
It's the Game meaning it's the Video Card.
You just have to replace the video card. You can buy it in bestbuy or ask a friend that understand computers to open your PC and check which card can be put (usually PCI/AGP Slot) then go and get the piece

Good luck
