Wow... I am sorry but I just have to say that the poster above gives new meaning to the words insane ignorance...

What she said about everyone speaking the same language and then "god changed it" and they took on characteristics of where they lived..... minus the god part, adapting to your environment IS evolution... I seriously cant believe the stories religions make up to keep each other ignorant, its crazy..

PS in response to the post above that says the bible is "proof" and evolution has no proof.... What planet are you from? the domestic dog and cat are proof enough of evolution, not to mention Vampire finches, Marine Iguanas, the entire Fossil record.... Darwin was only the founding father of evolutionary theory and if you took your head out of ignorance for a while and actually studied science you would know we have moved way beyond his original hypothesis into the realm of scientifically verifiable data. By the way the word theory doesnt mean what you think it does in science....

Evolution of the species is the only the only way to explain the ethnicity. If the bible is to be believed we would all be related and living in sin with our brothers and sisters, mother and fathers.
I fully believe darwins theory of evolution and the adaption to your surrounds and climate.

well there's only one simple answer to this. evolution was just a THEORY its just what Darwin thought MIGHT be true . then people went all crazy and decided it was a real science when they haven't got anything to really back it up . Unlike the whole Adam and eve thing we can back it up with proof THE BIBLE.

Let me start saying that I wish you the best!!! And I'm glad that you are curious about something. That means there is something inside of you that is bothering you, and that is good. This way you can get more info. learn the word of GOD, and then you can always choose your fate.

Do you know why is it that, we can choose what to believe or not? Because the marvelous gifts GOD has given us, and one of them is "FREE WILL".

I don't know why is it that people get so mad that us Christians believe in GOD as FATHER, JESUS THE LORD, SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT as OUR GUIDE.

When no one is actually forcing any body to believe in anything they don't really want!!! Thanks to the gift GOD gave us, now you can decide for your self!!! Just know the facts.

I will like to touch a litle bit on your question, dear. The explanation for Ethnicities?

There are many as you can find at Encarta Encyclopedia, under Babel Tower, Biblical explanation. But the best place is the Bible itself. IN GENESIS, is the first book of the Bible.

I'm going to make it short and sweet; At the beggining every body spoke the same language. Easy communication, right??? Well, read and you'll learn something new!!!

There was a king, he believed in GOD. Because of this he wanted to get to GOD, and to honor HIM the king started a project.

For this reason the king sent the people to build a
tower which was sopposed to be so high as to reach the heavens.
If you visit encarta Encyclopedia, you see the remains of this historical and so important tower. "Babel's Tower", the name of the place was BABYLONIA !!!
Actually, long before "The Piramids", were build, this was "THE FIRST SKY SCRAPER EVER BUILT!!! Just to get to GOD.
I wonder is that is a secret wish, for those who builds sky scrapers now a days??? Huumm!!! O.K.

Every body was so happy and they would work for many years on this project. They were actually going to reach heavens, once the tower was completed!!!!
The king forgot a litle detail, that GOD doesn't like to be honor with materials things, like statues, or others stuff, including buildings!!! And even though they continue building this magnificient tower, problems started to arised.

The builders got tired, and also, the ones in charge of this never ending project. SO!!!! They started to argue fiercely about it, and this people which were harmonius, and understanding now were angry with one another, to the point where they couldn't agree on what to do, any more. And couldn't work in PEACE!!!

The king got confused and upset, and GOD TOO!!! But this people were good!!!
So to end the fights and arguments and loss of life's. GOD, made them speak different languages!!! If they couldn't understand each other, they couldn't argue, fight and kill one another!!!!

This forced people to gather accordindly with the language spoken. And they took off, to far away lands where they adopt, different ways as cultures, ect.
And like every body that goes and stay in one place for a long time they took different characteristics, from the enviroment, accordinly with the place they were living at!!!

And that "IS" the real and true story of Ethnicities!!!

Just imagine you and me right now, since we disagree on this, all of the sudden, I start typing in "Sthrokglesut" ( don't worry it doesn't exist, at least yet), because GOD love us so much and see good in us to help the situation, GOD makes YOU, UNABLE to read or speak, my language, "Sthrokglesut".

Between you and me I'm praying you understand a litle bit of this at least, so we don't argue and fight over this topic, because to tell you the truth I even have trouble typing my own language invention!!!!

I invite you to look for more info on this, read the Bilble, the book of GENESIS, like if your are reading something for school and need to pass a test. Actually that is the tryth too !!!
