Typical American, now some of the people here want us to believe that America had nothing to do with his hanging. That's nonsense. America has everything to do with his hanging. Now to the question:
Eid is not Christian or Jew, so America do not give a damn whether that period is defiled.

I heard that there is an age limit. People over 70 years can not be executioned. And Saddam is turning 70 soon.

I agree that it was horrifically insensitive. It was the Iraqi government responsible for it though. I was reading about it and some officials in Iraq were boasting that the date was specially chosen. Shiite's of course.

It was an internal matter in IOraq and they decided when Saddam was to die. The US had nothing to do with it. Please take some time to get some semblance of an education.

If I read correctly he had to be executed within 30 days of his sentencing.
