is the new flick "BLACK CHRISTMAS" a remake of the 70s classic "STRANGER IN THE HOUSE" STARRING SOLIVIA HUSSEY,KEIR DULLEA,MARGOT KIDDER? and was the original name of that movie "black christmas"? that was a very disturbing film my knees were knocking together all night after i saw it and i was "bugged" for awhile after. GREAT FILM! if it is a remake,I HOPE THEY DID'NT SCREW IT UP!!!

We watched the original Black Christmas on TV back when it came out. Me, my two sisters and my dad were all watching it intently. During a quiet and intense scene, my dad goes "BOO!" real loud. We all jumped!

It's the one with all the stars you mentioned, but it was called Stranger in the House which was it's alternate name. It is the scariest movie I know, and spurred movies like Halloween and other slasher flicks.

Yes, the new one is a remake. I am very annoyed that they remade it because the original was great the way it was. The producers are just taking advantage to make money during the holidays.

Yes the new one is a weak remake of the old classic one.

It does seem to me that the original had two titles. Other then Black Christmas, I can't remember what the other title was.
