Avast is the best virus protection software around and it's free for home users. I have used this program for several years on all of my computers and I have never gotten a virus or had a problem with using the program. You do have to register it but like I said it's free for the home version. Your registration is good for I think 2 years. After that you just simply re-register it and keep going. Also Avast doesn't slow your system down like Norton's does. Here is the site where you get the download.

AVG is the way to stay. I've run it for 4 years and have had no major problems. So stick with what you know, and upgrade to thier new version. Program version 7.5.432
