Both computers are running xp but its an old version of quickbooks version 7 I have memory stick will that work? And how do i do it ??? not a gun at computers

Window XP sees a memory stick as just a another removable drive.
In which case you should just be able to save your data file to it.
Then copy the data file back into the Quickbooks folder on your new machine.
If you still have a problem call the Quickbooks help center.
Although if you haven't payed for the help option they may not want to know you.

how do you explain someone to open a door using a key ? Is it no obvious? as in copy your fdd to your mem stick ...
