They did not film the actual death and he behaved as if to create a legend. He had plenty of money for bribes and really the west was as much to blame for arming him in the first place.

You have uncovered the conspiracy!

Saddam arrived in the execution chamber and promptly bribed the four executioners (all four had suffered greatly at his hands before, but happily accepted cashmere scarves as bribes). Waiting outside, unseen by the thousands of troops stationed in the area, sat Elvis in JFK's presidential limo. Saddam jumped aboard, and the two men raced out of the Coalition compound, expertly avoiding the eyes of the millions of alert locals. Just outside Baghdad a white Fiat driven by the Duke of Edinburgh pulled alongside them and attempted to cause them to crash. Luckily, quick thinking Elvis threw his Jesus family tree at the Duke's car, and they escaped.

Upon arriving at Baghdad airport, the two men ran across the runway to a rocket piloted by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Armstrong and Aldrin faked the rocket launch, and as billions of people and accurate technology were tricked into watching Elvis land on the moon, him and Saddam took a quick plane flight to Brazil where Hitler and Princess Diana met them on the tarmac.

Unfortunately Saddam then learnt that someone had filmed his execution right through to his neck snapping and his death.

This, ladies and gentleman, is sarcasm. I thank you.

there is a possibility that one of his " double`s" was on the end of the rope he could of been switched at any time , the officials only witnessed the execution they where not in the holding cell with him 24/7 and we have to ask the question what did happen to all his double`s ? it was a well known fact that he had many of them and it was hard for people who really knew him ( including his son`s before they died ) to distinguish if it was the real Saddam or not , so what are the chances of officials recognising him at the execution ? there is many question`s without answer`s so i think that yes there is a slight possibility that it was not him on the end of the rope !

Let me ask you this - why wouldn't they execute him??? Also, Saddam's money isn't as long as you think it is so that wasn't it. Even if the west armed him, the families of the people he murdered need something to set their minds at ease. Why would you even ask a question like this?

One valid point you if there is that the West is to blame. They helped him carry out atrocities including assasination.

The rest of what you have said? How many times do you want a person to die?? If he died with dignity, it just goes to show that he refused to give in and let the world be happy at his pains.

If he's the same guy they dragged out of that hole a couple of months back, then it's the right guy, cos he's been in custody ever since. I doubt he was allowed visitors, so he wouldn't have been able to switch places with anybody, so they DID execute the right guy.

He is dead. Get over it. People way more intelligent than you, and with a much greater interest in Saddam's death than you, Have executed him.

Don't be an idiot. The actual footage of him dropping through the trap door and swinging is all over the internet. Do a google search and i'm sure you'll find it. I watched it myself earlier.

there's so much riding on having Saddam Hussein executed by the occupying forces that if they couldn't secure his execution a fake would certainly be the next best thing. He's probably living it up being looked after by his good American Friends with taxpayers dollars in Guantanamo.

I dont think he was executed. Looked like a set up. He was to calm and probably will emerge in a year or two with tapes like Bin Laden.
