I owe them more than $400 and they were supposed to shut it off on the 21st but they still haven't. Is there a possibility that they made a mistake on their computers and they think it's disconnected but it's not? I sure hope so LOL

shhhhhh.... when ever i move in to a new place, i check the cable. one house had it already connected with 2 movie channels. the cable guy came a fewdays laterand asked if i wantedcable. i said nope!

It's your responsibility to notify them that the cable is still on. You're breaking the law by not doing so but any guy who gets $400 behind and thinks it's funny probably doesn't care about responsibility anyway.
